Before Your Cosmetic Injection Appointment

To ensure the best possible results and minimize bruising, please follow these pre-treatment guidelines:

Avoid blood-thinning medications and supplements like aspirin, Advil, Aleve, Motrin, fish oil, Vitamin E, and Vitamin A for at least 24 hours before your appointment (with physician approval if prescribed).

Avoid alcohol 24 hours prior to treatment.

Plan for at least one week without major events (in case of bruising).

Arrive well-rested and hydrated.

If you are feeling unwell or have an active infection, please call the office to reschedule your appointment.

After Your Cosmetic Injection Appointment

Proper aftercare is essential for achieving the best results:

No strenuous exercise for 24 hours.

No bending, heavy lifting, or lying down for 4 hours after injections.

Avoid facials or massages for 24 hours.

Refrain from wearing makeup for 4 hours post-treatment. When resuming, use clean brushes and sponges.

It is normal to see small bumps or welts at injection sites—please do not touch or massage the treated areas.

Move your facial muscles (smiling, frowning) to help the product absorb naturally.

Full results typically develop over 10–14 days after treatment.
